What is NDIS Community Support?

Community participation is one of the most important aspects of living a fulfilling life. At Thrive in Life Care, our community support service is designed to help NDIS participants engage with the people, places, and activities that matter to them — right here on the Central Coast of NSW.

Whether it's attending a local group, exploring a hobby, or simply visiting your favourite spot along the Coast, our support workers walk alongside you to make it happen safely and enjoyably.

What we help with

• Social outings and events — markets, sports days, community festivals across Gosford, Wyong, Terrigal, and beyond
• Group activities — art classes, exercise programs, hobby groups, and recreational activities
• Building friendships — supporting you to meet new people and strengthen social connections
• Volunteering and employment — helping you explore pathways to work, volunteering, or education
• Transport and access — getting you where you need to be safely and on time

Community support services are typically funded under the NDIS support category Assistance with Social, Economic and Community Participation. If your NDIS plan includes funding in this area, you can use it to access our community support services.

We work with self-managed, plan-managed, and NDIA-managed participants. Our team can help you understand how your plan funding applies — just ask.
